JSweet 1.0.0-RC1 is ready!

I am pleased to announce that we have just made available the candidate to a first stable JSweet release.

We would like to warmly thank all the early adopters and testers that have used JSweet and provided us very useful feedback. We believe that JSweet is now stable and fulfills all our initial objectives, and even more.

  • JSweet is now intensively tested with many examples and more than 100 tests on syntax and execution, for default code packaging and commonjs packaging.
  • JSweet now provides 1200+ JavaScript librairies from TSD, around 50 of them (including Node.js, Knockout, JQuery, Angular, Three.js, BabylonJS, …) being officially used in various example projects.
  • JSweet documentation is getting more and more complete and now covers all the aspects of the language: Language specifications.
  • More than ever, JSweet is easy to try with the quickstart project and the online sandbox.
  • JSweet is production-ready with a well-defined candy release process (more info will come soon) and better support for Jar packaging.

JSweet 1.0.0 should be released very soon (within days) if no problem is found. So happy testing and keep in touch!
